June 2018 part 16: more Badlands

The Badlands are beautiful.

In the morning, the mud made some paths treacherous.

The mud also made fossil-hunting hard. But we still enjoyed the views.

It was nice to get out some energy after so much time in the car.

We even said hello to some park prairie dogs.
