June 2018 part 13: Northfield, Minnesota

The next day was easier. We stopped in Wisconsin for some soup and delicious fried cheese curds at the Thorpedo restaurant.

And before we knew it, we were back in Northfield, Minnesota, the land of Cows, Colleges, and Contentment.

We all had to pose on the sign.

Even Maddie snapped a shot.

We got some swag at the bookstore (which they kindly held open a few minutes past closing for us).

We visited the locked door behind which lies the magical KRLX studio.

And, hanging out in front of Sayles-Hill, a kindly Dean even materialized to procure frozen treats for the kids. What a way to make a good first impression! (Technically, a second impression for Maddie.)

We met up with Anna, Mira, and Reed, who had just made their own westward move!

When it started to rain ...

... we all left campus and headed into town.
