June 2018 part 14: Minnesota continued, plus intro to South Dakota

When in Northfield, one must do certain things, such as have beer cheese soup, a half combo with everything, and some chocolate peanut butter revel ice cream at Hogan Brothers.

A bonus for the former-student-now-parents among us is the eatery's play area.

Sometimes to squeeze in everything, a second dinner is necessary too. In this case, Basil's Pizza also accommodated alumni desires to make us their last pizza before closing -- the famous gyro pizza, a Northfield specialty.

And of course in the morning we had to visit Goodbye Blue Monday.

On our way out of Minnesota ...

... Maddie befriended a rest stop cat.

Then we stopped in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for a lunch that was so tasty that, once again, Oliver couldn't help but dance.
