June 2018 part 11: Niagara Falls, NY

We arrived in Niagara Falls, New York roughly on schedule, but the combination of parking and hotel check-in took forever. By the time we made it to the line for the Maid of the Mist, this is what we found:

We all somehow made it through the hour-and-a-half wait. The view of the Rainbow Bridge to Canada helped.

When we finally made it onto the Maid, the wait proved worth it.

The falls were quite the sight.

Oliver was inspired to dance for joy.

As we headed back to the dock (and a half-hour wait to resurface at the top), we watched the falls recede.

Then we had a very late dinner at the Indian buffet that was appended to our hotel ...

... where the kids discovered a love of root beer.
