The kiddos, however, were coaxed out from the security of their fort to go to the Oregon Zoo!
We saw lots of animals, including a tiger ...
... consumed delicious refreshments ...
... and had a jolly good time.
We even got to wait at the station ...
... to take the light rail!
All this excursing is exhausting.
As our trip wound down, we fit in unfinished business, such as cashing in on Uncle Marc's generosity to get gelato.
We gathered our cat-family art.
We said our goodbyes at the airport.
And we took off.
