He was thrilled with his gifts ...
... and his cake, which he helped to ice.
At the end of the day, he fell asleep cheered by his new happy lantern.
Life carried on.
And one day we decided it was finally time to do something we'd never yet gotten around to doing:
Taking out a swan boat at Roger Williams Park (after finishing our Del's, of course).
We had a blast paddling around the park's ponds.
Ah, summer.
