2. OR wine country

The next day, we sampled a different playground.




The kiddos especially liked this setup, which allowed them to play shop with the wood chips as currency.



Then we went to Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve.  We enjoyed the education center ...



... and went for a hike.  The summer has been so dry that Pintail Pond was just a pit, but there was a cute little stream where we saw frogs.



After Jackson Bottom, we headed out to Elk Cove Vineyards, where Summer and I got married eight years ago!


You can tell it's been dry, but the scenery is still quite nice!


We showed the kids the wine grapes ...


... and the gazebo where our ceremony took place.




It was nice.


Later that night, we attempted some family photos.


It was a little tricky with the kids, but they turned out ok.
