Then, later in the week, the gang minus me went down to Watch Hill to see what all the fuss is about.
Madeline checked out the historic Flying Horse Carousel, the oldest of its kind in the country. She took this experience very seriously.
But afterward she said she had fun and asked to ride again.
When weekend came, Seth and Indika visited.
Indika helped the kiddos cover the whole yard with chalk drawings.
Then she and Madeline built a nest on the basement bulkhead.
When they had to leave, Oliver waved goodbye.
Between visits, we went to explore the Gordon School's campus and play on its playgrounds. Though it's Madeline's school, Oliver made full use of the grounds.
Madeline had a good time too.
