Pumpkins

Last week was a bit rough -- costly car repairs, my computer in critical condition, and both illness and injury for Madeline (neither serious, thank goodness).

The kiddos, though, were jolly through the whole thing.

Believe it or not, that last picture was taken shortly after Madeline fell down the stairs and ended up with a nasty bruise beneath that headband.

So Saturday we were very thankful for a long weekend to recover from our week.  The day was clear and beautiful -- perfect for us to head out to Four Town Farm and get pumpkins with Kristin.

A tractor dropped us off at a corn maze.

When we emerged from the maze ...

... there were lots of pumpkins!

Madeline picked one out, and the tractor took us back.

Today we all got decked out in our Eagles gear ...

... but the network is showing Green Bay-Baltimore, so here I am on my (work) computer while the rest of the family naps.

  1. Unfortunately there are weeks like that...hope next week is better. Your kids have the longest legs! When we return I am going to find a picture of your Dad that looks very much like Oliver..I want to have it for Thanksgiving. Meanwhile I need to get to bed since I probably won't sleep on the plane tomorrow night. We'll be nearby, at Logan, for 4 hours before our flight on Aer Lingus. Will wave as we fly by. Love to You All and Thanks for the pictures...good times, for sure! xoxoxo N
