That excursion was followed by some low-key fun at home ...
... and then an outing to run off some kiddo energy at Meshanticut Lake.
The kiddos followed me and balanced on tree roots.
We even saw turtles!
Sunday was Mothers' Day, so I got up early with the kiddos and we procured flowers ...
... and fancy donuts.
The many mothers in attendance were pleased.

And then the Delaware contingent were off. After an interlude of quiet artistry ...
... we decided another excursion was in order. Down to Newport we went, and after a scenic cruise along Ocean Drive we frolicked on First Beach.
The sky was dramatic!
The kiddos were energetic!
Grandma Mandy even got a good family photo!
