The kiddos found an abandoned lobster trap.
We climbed up again to find the ruins of an old fort.
Then as the sun set behind us, we marched back along the beach ...
... and climbed back up the dune.
Then we stopped just over the border in Connecticut for ice cream.
The next day, we visited a city park in North Kingstown.
These little outdoor adventures were a fine way to kick off 2017.
