The day was gray but not too cold.
Aunt Sarah introduced Oliver to the Pacific.
Then Oliver got to partake in his favorite pastime: throwing rocks into water.
Meanwhile Madeline bonded with a jellyfish named Luna.
And while Oliver made mischief ...
... Madeline gathered stones ...
... to build a home for Luna.
Oliver's enthusiasm for hurling rocks into the water was so great that he ended up running into the surf, resulting in his waterlogged pants falling around his knees.
The whole experience tuckered out all the young'uns.
That night, the kiddos were treated to bedtime reading by Uncle Matt.
