Oregon Part 1

Way back in August, we got on an airplane ...


... and flew to Oregon!  This time around, Oliver actually took advantage of his headphone-and-device combo.


The kids held up well over the course of our cross-country travels but were ready for bed once we arrived.


After an adjustment day, Summer and I abandoned the kiddos to the loving hands of their grandparents, aunt, and uncles and took off into the Columbia gorge.


The gorge is pretty.



We hiked up to the top of Triple Falls.


It felt good to put our feet in the pool at the top.


Here's a view of the falls from the path on the way back -- it's tough to capture how big they are and how high up we were.


But in any event, we did it!



And it was all downhill from there.
