Fall 2018: meet Anzu

We were pleased to cast our first ballots as Oregonians, though we also found ourselves missing the community inherent in the polling-place experience.

Fall in the Portland area exceeded expectations. Our back yard looked like this:

And my downtown running route afforded this view.

In November, we were finally feeling settled enough to make good on our promise to procure an orange tabby kitten.

Meet Anzu Meowmeow.

His arrival made Nory feel a bit forlorn.

But the rest of us were thrilled with his bubbly personality ...

... and his readiness to nestle into a lap and cuddle and sleep, purring all the while.
