Mid-to-late June (Update 1 of 4)

Let's return to mid-to-late June.  The kiddos were superheroes.

Our garden began yielding carrots.

Nanny and Pop Pop returned for a weekend!

We played Old Maid.

And ate apples.

And when the weekend came to an end, Oliver gave great good-bye hugs.

He continues to be a jolly, sweet-tempered little guy.

And he and Madeline love dressing the same.  "Twins!  We're twins!"

And they love playing with Duplos together.

There's one other thing Oliver loves right now: "ROAAAAR!!!"

He likes to talk about the various animals that could eat him.  "Dinosaurs eat me!  Lions eat me!  Bears eat me!"  He seems pretty happy about the possibility of getting eaten by any of these animals.  Dragons, on the other hand, terrify him.
