End of November, part one (to Delaware)

Toward the end of November ...


... we had a goodbye brunch with Kristin, who's moving to London.


Madeline helped us rake leaves.





When Oliver woke up, he helped too.


We went out to Iggy's to have semi-outdoor waterfront seafood in the dark, by a warm fire.  It's tough to beat Iggy's in the off-season.


Soon ...


... it was time to hit the road.  Little balls of energy appreciate rest stops.



The driving was surprisingly easy.  Before long, we were in Delaware.




Then suddenly it was Thanksgiving.  We spent the morning exercising the kiddos on the playground ...




... and in the woods.


We found a soccer ball in the woods.



And a horseshoe in a tree.




Later, the festivities would commence ...
